I had expanding foam insulation installed in the walls of my 1954 house by RetroGreen of St. Cloud. (Although the blown in attic insulation I had hired 5 years prior helped utility costs tremendously, the old wall batting was making little difference in heat retention.Or keeping cool.The new furnace ran often.)
A great 3 man crew arrived on time; they were polite, got along well, worked efficiently, and clean up was like " they had never been there." My foundation plants survived very well and were treated with care. The double dutch lap siding was handled expertly.
Exterior sound from the neighborhood was reduced immediately. There's little doubt in my mind that propane and electricity usage will be reduced. It feels even more of a sweet, cozy little house now.

I was very impressed with their work. Everyone knew what their job was and worked great as a team. If I had a question, they explained to me what they were doing and how it was done. I was shown with the infrared camera how it looked before and after. They were done in no time. They all were very friendly and fun to talk with; a great bunch of guys. The crews arrived right at the time expected, went right to work and everyone seemed to know just what their job was. Worked very well together and were very courteous and concerned whether or not I had any questions about the process. The job went very well and when they were finished, everything was cleaned up just like they had never been there. I am sure when winter comes we will notice a big difference in the warmth of our 100+ year old house.

Retrogreen insulated my older cabin. They were really fast, they made sure the foam didn't get inside and make a mess, and they cleaned everything up when done. I was very impressed. For insulating my old home's attic they were careful, thorough, cleaned up after the work was done, and finished everything in one day.

RetroGreen was great to work with! After coming to them with concerns about temperature fluctuations in our 2nd floor, they were quickly able to identify the problem (literally no insulation), and come back with a quote. They were able to fit us in quickly after receiving the down payment and clearly laid out all the tax and rebates available to us. The guys showed up almost a month early (thank you Minnesota winter) at the appointment time and were ready to work within a short time. Very professional crew. Explained everything, didn't;t mind me watching over their shoulder, and when they left you couldn't't tell they had even been here. Now to wait and see what the difference in sound and heating/cooling bills will be.

Great experience and extremely professional crew! They insulated the attic spaces in our 1 1/2 story house. This reduced our air leakage by 38% Seriously! Executed a combination of foams and blown fill exactly as planned, arrived and completed on schedule, and kept everything extremely clean! Even sent me pictures of the final installation for my records! I wish all my contractors were this professional!

Everyone associated with this project was professional and pleasant from the owner who provided the initial overview and quote to the crew who worked in the hottest weather of the summer to complete my project on time. It was a sizable investment in my 1949 home. I immediately noticed the reduction in outside noise and an improvement on what was a drastic difference in temperatures between main level and second story.

Chris had a large crew doing our attic crawl space. Several trucks and lots of equipment. They had to open up the roof to access this tight space. The crew removed the old crappy insulation, foamed in new for R-60, repaired the roof with matching shingles. They where finishing up as the rain came. Excellent timing guys.
I am glad the team was so well prepared and did good job of cleaning up. We can feel the difference in our home already.

We had insulation installed in the ceiling of our loft space. Work had to be done from the inside. Everything was great! Good communication, good crew, timely, efficient, neat worksite, cleaned up at end. We've noticed an improvement already in the energy conservation upstairs. Highly recommend.

The guys did a great job, very considerate of the flowers and plants we had around the house, did a great job of cleaning up after they were done, asked if we had any questions, did a walk around after they completed the job, very pleased with the work.

Great experience with Retro Green! I have an historic home and they carefully removed the siding to drill holes and put it all back in place when they were finished and touched up the paint. Excellent communication from start to finish.

Chris and the crew that insulated my attic were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They squeezed me in so I wouldn't have to be without insulation into the hot summer months and handled all the paperwork to get my energy rebates. It was a very seamless and easy process.

We are very happy that Retro Green was able to help us with our Insulation in our Roof/attic and our exterior walls.
Having an older home, things were not as they should have been. Lack of insulation as well as lack of venting in the attic caused many issues. Having very little insulation in the walls as well, made for a cold house in the winter and hot in the summer!! The furnace and fireplace seemed to never shut off and the AC was the same!!
I highly recommend them as they are very easy to work with and the guys that do the work are very professional. Any question I had, they answered without any hesitation. They know their stuff!!
We are excited to see our propane bill be lower this year!!

RetroGreen made two visits for our project. The first was to remove all the existing insulation in our attic in preparation for replacing HVAC ductwork. The second was to spray foam the new ductwork and seal gaps where it penetrated walls and floors. Foaming took place in the attic, main level and a crawl.

At each visit the crews showed up exactly on time. They confirmed the work to be done and asked multiple times if we had any questions before starting. They were good humored and engaging which is a monster plus for me. They worked efficiently and quickly. The finished work is better than we expected.

I had RertroGreen remove and reinstall attic insulation in our 25 year old house as it was apparent what was in there, wasn't doing the job. Our furnace ran constantly when temperature got below 10 F, and we had 5 foot icicles growing off the roof, even when temperatures were below freezing. Ergo, there was a massive heat loss. RetroGreen came in and in the space of 2 days, removed the old insulation, sealed and wrapped anything that needed it, (which was a lot!) and replaced it with new insulation. This was impressive to me as this is a large attic 3000+ sq.ft..
While it has been less than a week since they finished their work and I should actually give it more time before I make any permanent judgements, I can state at this time that during the recent snowstorm and subsequent sub-zero temperatures, the house stayed warm and draft free and the furnace spent more time off than on!
I am very happy with the results. There was a 30% reduction in air loss after the insulation was installed.

We hired RetroGreen Energy to help us come up with a sound proofing plan for a spin studio in a busy office complex. We executed the plan and the final results were better than we anticipated. We have zero transfer of sound out of the workout rooms, even when the stereo system is turned all the way up. We will defiantly be using RetroGeen Energy again in the future! Great job, from initial contact, thru energy audit, quote, and install. Every question I had was answered and explained. Paul and crew were on time, courteous, and did an awesome job! We had a few "problem areas", and they were taken care of on the same day. House is noticably quieter and temps inside are more even. Haven't had to run the furnace since they were here, but the AC definitely doesn't run as much as before! Now, can't wait to see how the house does this winter! We had Retro Green come and insulate our home the was built in the late 60's. They where very reasonable and had a great product. I believe the house is less drafty and is much quieter! Their crew was friendly and hardworking! Thank you for a great job!!

We contacted Home Advisors who gave us 3 companies to contact for adding insulation to our home. RetroGreen had their "act" together and after doing an energy audit of our house, Paul pointed out the areas where we were lacking sufficient insulation and air leaks. Sam came and took the measurements and gave us a quote. We had to wait longer than we liked to have the work done but have found out that the busy contractors are usually the ones that do the best job. Cody brought the crew in yesterday (half hour earlier than we were told). They went right to work and vacuumed out the old insulation and sealed the areas that leaked, built boxes around fixtures that stuck up into attic. and made a frame around ladder going into attic. Then they sprayed R-60 cellulose insulation into attic, making sure the ventilation needed was there. They cleaned the work area up including the ladder. I highly recommend RetroGreenEnergy

The company representative at the home improvement trade show was knowledgeable and easy-going, which made it easier to ask for a home visit. The scheduler and estimator were friendly and responsive, and gave straight answers quickly. And the crew was best of all: punctual, professional, personable, and thorough. From first meeting to completed project was less than a month, and I'm very happy with the results.
