The job was done well, speedy, and the estimate was spot-on and reasonable. The chimley led was is done very well and clean looking. In my case, I think a wider drip edge would have been better but the water and ice is on so I'm not too worried. Excellent service and professional installation 😁

TLDR; Jarod with JS&R exceeded my expectations at every point during this process. Jarod was personable and professional, his team was respectful and quick, and the actual roofing day experience was excellent.

First step was meeting at our house to give us a free quote. He was personable, kind, and patient. Being the first roofer I met with, I had a lot of questions. Jarod walked me through all of it with exceptional thoughtfulness and respect. He, along with other roofers, left plenty of leave behind materials to refer to after the meeting.
Me, a new homeowner who has to call a parent with any roofing questions, mentioned I was talking to other roofers to test Jarod’s reaction. His response is what earned my trust and turned off my defensiveness in seconds. With a warm smile, he said he knows some of the other companies in the area, that they do great work, and that he would be happy to refer me to them if JS&R turned out not to be the right fit.
He took the extra time to built a rapport with me and immediately earned my trust after this meeting. (This is starkly different than my experience with Bob & Sons, who I recommend avoiding. JP Carroll’s team was large and skilled, but Jarod is the only one who refused to speak poorly of other companies – even when I vented to him about Bob & Sons).
Because of the trust he earned, I was genuinely excited when he got back to me with a quote I could work with. I WANTED to choose Jarod. Meeting with more roofers and hearing their quotes only solidified my decision.
He was patient and flexible with us getting payment to him and scheduling a day (three days out!). Day of, he met us outside and explained how the day would go. Jarod provides three pieces of plywood, included, and charged a very reasonable price for the extra pieces. He also charged me very reasonably for extra facia – and his team cleared out the gutters for us! The crew moved our grill and other things away from harm during roofing, put everything back to its exact spot, and cleaned up thoroughly.

I don’t need to be “buddy buddy” with my roofer. But it’s a nice bonus. And I do need to trust them. Add that he gave me the lowest quote, and the work day was great, and he’s a military family, and he’s a smaller local company – and look no further. Stop your search (I mean, you do you, and do your research – but Jaord is THE choice). We will be asking JS&R to do our siding when the time comes.

Jarrod and his team are great. They help you get as much done as possible for a great price! I got a few prices before choosing who to hire to do my siding and this company won by a landslide. I wasn't planning on getting the garage covered yet because I dont have alot of money but this company made it possible. They are great people. Jarod & his crew just did our homes roof (strip down 2 layers & replace + replacing 2 skylights. Done fast professionally with good materials at a fair price. Can't believe it was done in a day considering almost 90° temp and humidity GREAT JOB! GREAT CLEAN UP.

He even gave us a list of addresses to see his work, and various roof colors, in order to help with our decision. His crew came in and got the job done in a day. It looks fantastic, and we are relieved to have a new roof to protect us! Jarod even worked with our insurance agent to document the roof replacement, which earned us a discount on our homeowner insurance!

After our insurance company informed us they were dropping us if we didn’t replace our roof we were scrambling. We hired JS and R Roofing this past fall to replace our roof. The workers were not only professional but extremely friendly. Jarod was great and very easy to work with and contact. The quality of work is just excellent, and BONUS... the price beat any other quote we received! We read through a couple of negative reviews (looks like there's only two), and decided to go with what all of the positive reviews said and we are very happy that we did. We would highly recommend this company to anyone.

The crew at JS and R were very good. They got right to work, had the roof stripped in no time, took off the useless dishes, and also took down an unnecessary chimney. They started putting the new roof on just after noon and had it completed in just over a day. They also did a good job cleaning up everything. Thanks! and the roof looks great!!

Jarod was very professional in his presentation and in arranging the new roof. As far as I can tell, the crew did a good job. They certainly worked hard. They forgot to put the leaf guards back on the gutters, but Jarod came back and finished the job. Highly recommended.

Jarod and his crew did a great job on my roof replacement. They were quick, courteous, clean and thorough. I’ve recommended them to others and got positive feedback from every one of them.

This review is overdue, but with the recent storms I wanted to share how well our new roof and skylights have held up! No damage at all. The Skylights and surrounding areas are nice and dry. They were leaking before we had it all redone by JS and R and it was always awful when it rained. The new roof and skylights were all done in 1 day, cleanup and all. Jarod was easy to work with and very responsive. He was great at explaining the process and products. Price was beyond fair. Would highly recommend.

I had what can only be described as the best customer experience. Great value and attention to detail. Jarod and his team did an amazing job on my roof and it looks perfect. When the job was done the crew cleaned up every part of my yard and it was immaculate.
